Paul I am very sorry to hear of this. Could it be that she knew how you feel and wanted to try to encourage you into marrying her?

Either way Viv is a nice girl and I would hate to see anything happen to her. Thinking back, I think remember her and you together back from around 2006 or 2007 on or maybe it was even before then.

I hope her stay there is uneventful and that she will eventually return to the Philippines safe.

No, I believe she did it just to appease her boss in Saudi. I do not believe she understands the severity of the situation, though, and how serious those people take their faith.

You see, my name is on his birth certificate as his father, and all his documents as his father, even before his birth.

Did you register his birth with the US Embassy and get him a passport?

No. Long story that starts off with me not being his biological father.

As I understand the really screwed up system here, if your name is on the BC you ARE the father.  After all, there is no place on the BC where it says check here if not bio daddy, ya' know?

Yep. But, that only works regarding anything I want to do for the little guy in SE Asia, including the Philippines. If I wanted to take him to the states, it would be a MUCH different story.

take him to mexico walk him across the border

or take him to haiti or the dominican republic and row across to puerto rico

either way

With a cheery smile and a wave of his hand he wandered off to an unknown land.

Not all those who wander are lost.

My intention is not to take Quinn from his mom. I would never want to do that. He needs her.

Personally, I do wish things - still, would work out for Vivian and me. I don't see how, though, since we already have tried this tons of times over the years.

Interesting point, I thought the Visa requirements were the same for PR or Guam as they were for the rest of the country, not true?

If you are listed on the BC what more can they ask for?  Do the require DNA testing now?

Pretty certain they would. I had a vasectomy before I ever left the US. So, 1999 or maybe 2000? I forget when.
